He removed to Fairfield Co., OH (later Madison Co.) about 1806.  He served in Ohio Militia during the War of 1812.
He was enumerated in the 1830 census of Stokes Twp., Madison Co., OH.

He served as Justice of the Peace in 1835.  He was a Trustee for Stokes Twp. in 1836-1839.   He served as  Township Supervisor in 1838.  [History of Madison Co., OH]

He removed to Marshall, Clark Co., IL in 1836.  He was enumerated in the 1840 census of Clark Co., IL.
